Past Present Future of the Welshpool Rural Transaction Established in 1999 the RTC has proven itself to be sustainable as a Not For Profit Community Enterprise. Welshpool & District Advisory Group the governing body have also developed two other Community Enterprises,
And have formed important partnerships with various organisations who have either supported us or provided us with funding. These Organisations are:- Sth Gippsland Shire: Has been and still is a great support to us, as well as receiving grants from them when needed they have also supplied us with a Community Facilitator who over the past three years has assisted the Communities Clubs & Associations in the District. Social Traders: Social Traders has supported us in preparing our Social Accounts and we were selected as participants in the "Bsett" program which provides us with an adviser, mentor us in the openning of our enterprise the Welshpool Nursery R.E. Ross Trust:Foundation: Has been a great support providing us with a grant to produce a prospectus, and also assisting to develop employment pathways for the unemployed. Through the R.E Ross Trust we have produced various documents i.e. Social Accounts 12 month Strategic Plan Prospectus 3 Year Strategic Plan (Draft) Welshpool Community Plan in conjunction with the Shire Community Facilitator (Draft)
